CGSB stands for the Canadian General Standards Board and this body sets the minimum performance standard on the durability of the edge seal on the insulated glass unit. The standard is known as CGSB 12.8/ASTM E 2188/ASTM E 2189/ASTM E 2190 Insulating Glass Units and applies only to the glazed unit.
