Sun light shining on carpets and furniture can lead to premature fading of colours. The standard low -E coating will reduce the amount of harmful ultra violet rays passing through. Some low-E coatings are available that block even more sun light but care must be taken not to sacrifice the benefits of solar gain. Weigh all the advantages and disadvantages before deciding and use the right coating for the right application.
